Automation Tools

Internal tools and workflow automation that save teams hundreds of hours every month.

Timeline · 2–8 weeks for first wavePricing · From USD 15k for the first automation suite · ongoing retainers from USD 6k/mo

Most companies haemorrhage time inside the gap between SaaS tools — the spreadsheets that bridge them, the Slack messages that nudge them, the ops people who keep the duct tape from snapping. We replace that duct tape with proper automation: orchestrated, observable, and resilient.

Who it's for

Built for teams that need senior engineering — fast.

  • Ops, finance, and sales teams drowning in manual data shuffling
  • Companies running mission-critical work in spreadsheets
  • Engineering orgs whose runbooks are tribal knowledge
  • Founders whose ops cost is a hidden tax on growth
What you get

Concrete deliverables. No vague promises.

Workflow orchestration

Temporal, Inngest, or AWS Step Functions for long-running, retry-aware processes that survive deploys.

Internal admin tools

Retool, custom React, or hybrid — purpose-built for the team that will use them, with audit logs and granular permissions.

Integration plumbing

Stripe, HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Jira, Notion, Airtable — connected with idempotent sync and conflict resolution.

AI-augmented automation

Where it makes sense, LLM-powered classification, extraction, and decision-making — with human approval gates for high-stakes actions.

Observability for non-engineers

Dashboards your ops team understands. They see exactly what ran, what failed, and what to do about it.

Documented + handed off

Runbooks, README, video walkthrough. Your team owns the automation after we leave.

How we work

A repeatable, transparent process.

  1. Audit
Map current workflows, find the highest-cost manual steps.
  2. Prioritise
Score by hours saved × engineering effort. Pick top 3.
  3. Build
Iterative — automate the worst pain first, ship in days not weeks.
  4. Adopt
Onboard the affected team, gather feedback, tune.
  5. Scale
Add the next 3, then the next 10. Compound the leverage.

FAQ

Common questions about automation.

Why not just use Zapier or Make?+

For simple two-step automations, do — they're great. We get called when the logic is non-trivial, the data volume is high, retry semantics matter, or compliance/audit is a requirement.

Will this replace SaaS tools we already pay for?+

Sometimes — we'll often consolidate 3-4 overlapping SaaS bills into one custom internal tool that fits your workflow exactly. Other times we just orchestrate them better.

How do you handle failure and retries?+

Every workflow is idempotent and resumable. Temporal / Inngest give you retries with backoff, dead-letter queues, and time-travel debugging. Failures are visible, not silent.

Will my team be able to maintain it?+

Yes. We hand over readable code, runbooks, and a video walkthrough. We can also retain post-launch support if you'd rather we own it.
